Go by Bike and Save the World

I know it is still winter but I figure in preparation for the Spring I would submit this link http://1world2wheels.org/go-by-bike-challenge/.  In a country where over 30 percent of adults are obese and pollution is an ongoing problem for the world, people need to make changes in their daily lives to better society.  Cars in the United States are responsible for 1 million tons of pollution per day, a very significant and surprising fact.  40 percent of all trips made in the United States are under 2 miles, meaning that over 40 percent of 1 million tons, (400,000 tons of pollution) could be eliminated per day just by using a bike for trips under 2 miles.  At an average speed of only 10mph (very slow bike ride) a person could cover this distance in only 12 minutes.  Increasing the use of a bicycle as an alternative to a car could save precious fossil fuels, "The U.S. could save 462 million gallons of gasoline a year by increasing cycling from 1% to 1.5% of all trips." (1W2W).  So get out on your bike, and save some money and the world.
